Back to Business

Today is back to business day for Matteo and his school paperwork. We go in and fill out all that PTA, emergency contact stuff, sign-up to volunteer for various activities and get pictures taken. I'm excited for him and sad all at the same time - he is going into 1st grade! I can't believe he will be having lunch at school 5 days a week and gone every morning at 8:30am. Truthfully, I will miss him terribly. He tells funny jokes, loves to do math and science experiements around the house. And Dominick - he will be at preschool M/W/F, enjoying his playtime and friends. His favorite thing right now is baseball - watching it or playing the game. Anna will also be at preschool on W/F. She is all about cooking in the kitchen and coloring lately. I'm excited and sad about this school year. It's so strange to think about them all being gone for a bit - I'm going to miss them a bunch. Yes, I'm going to be that weepy Mom when school starts. All though, I'm sure it won't be hard to figure out how to fill my time when they are out of the house!
