California, Baby

Arrived in California today for a brief visit with Libby, a dear friend. Got a chance to see her lovely home in Hermosa Beach, meet 7 month old Jackson, and her husband Rich. The main attraction for the trip is seeing my niece, Stephanie, play beach volleyball. She is here in Huntington Beach, CA for a doubles, USVBA Juniors tournament. Yes, I'm the proud Aunt that has followed Stephanie here to see her play. I got to watch practice tonight and share a fun dinner at California Pizza Kitchen with the girls and my sister-in-law. Yes, Steph and her volleyball partner are enjoying California. What is not to like when you are 15 years old and playing volleyball on the beach? Lucky for me, I am able to be here.
