We spent the day at the Carleton Pumpkin Patch on Sunday. The most interesting part of the adventure - a Pumpkin Cannon! Yes, the kids could pay $1 for a small pumpkin, load it in the Pumpkin Cannon and pull the trigger. Yes, it is a completely cool toy - professionaly made, powered by a compressor and operated by a full-time Pumpkin Cannon Guy! The Pumpkin Cannon launches a pumpkin the length of three, yes, three football fields. The Pumpkin patch had lots of fun things - lots-o-pumpkins to look at and pick out, a corn maze, a kids maze, a tube slide, not to mention ice cream. All in all, a wonderful way to spend a Sunday afternoon for some family fun. Pretty cool stuff!
