It's was Salmon Days this past weekend - the annual Issaquah event that coincides with the salmon running upstream to go home to spawn. The Issaquah Rotary Club hosts a run every year - I ran the 5K with my dear friend Wynnie Johnson. The kids got to run a 1K race. It was so fun - they got race t-shirts and bib numbers. Our kids loved running with Benny and Christopher Johnson. Matteo and Dominick ran together - when Matteo got too far ahead of Dominick, he would turn around and go back to run with him. As for Anna, well - she had to wear her purple mittens. She ran for about half a block and then I carried her for the rest of it. All fun stuff with the family :)
