Out of the blue today, Anna asked me this: "Mommy, how does God decide if a boy baby or girl baby is going to be in a Mommy's tummy?".
I paused for a moment and opted for this response: "It's a miracle, Anna. Babies are all miracles from God."
I thought this was an age appropriate response and I didn't have enough caffeine today to really get my brain together for any better of an answer for my soon to be 4 year old little girl.
Anna thinks for a moment and says, " So God does magic Mommy? He must have a really cool magic wand".
